A CANCER charity is set to receive a £15,000 windfall thanks to the success of its annual vintage fair.

The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity hosts the event at Cressing Temple Barns every summer and it is one of its flagship fundraisers.

It sees live entertainment, classic cars, dancing, stalls and more attract visitors from across the region.

Crowds revelled in glorious sunshine while watching live music from the Harmonettes and the Kingsmen, as well as jive dancing from LJ’s Dancing.

Younger visitors were kept entertained with a variety of crafts, games, ice creams and pie throwing.

Organiser Vicki Butcher said: “The fair has been a great success and looks set to have raised over £15,000 with more funds still coming in.

“The money will go towards supporting those affected by cancer in Essex, London and Hertfordshire.

“We would like to thank all of our visitors, stall-holders and volunteer helpers for making it such a great event.”
