POLICE are appealing for information after a house was targeted twice by burglars in less than a week.

Officers are investigation reports the property in Christina Road, Witham, was raided on both June 14 and six days later on June 20.

The first burglary is understood to have taken place between 9.05am and 2.25pm and saw a hundreds of pounds in cash stolen, along with a gold locket and gold elephant bracelet.

During the second incident, which took place at around 11.35am, a neighbour is alleged to have spotted a man burgling the same address.

Cash was stolen once again, along with gold hoop earrings and three gold rings.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "The man in the second incident has been described as white with a two-tone grey hooded top which was pulled over his face.

"If you saw anything, have CCTV or dash cam footage, or any other information please call Braintree CID."
