HUNDREDS of residents attended a community day in Witham.
The free to attend event is held annually on the second Saturday of June near part of the River Walk, off Maldon Road.
It sees singing and dancing performers entertain the crowds while stall holders sell an array of items.
This year Witham MP Priti Patel joined the crowds.
She said: “It was wonderful to see the community come together in Witham.
“The town has great community spirit and the number of stallholders and good causes represented is a testament to the pride we have in our town.
“We were treated to some tremendous performances and entertainment and have a great pool of talent in our town.
“I commend the organisers and everyone present for making the community day such a wonderful and special event.”
