Carnival court: Princess Alice Baxter, Queen Holly Cresswell, Princess Bonnie Bunch
THE queen and princesses have been crowned for this year’s Braintree and Bocking Carnival Court.
Holly Cresswell (centre) has been named queen while Alice Baxter (left) and Bonnie Bunch (right) will be the princesses.
The announcement comes ahead of a packed schedule for the court which begins on June 7 when the queen will judge a shop window competition.
Then, on June 8 the court will lead a carnival day procession through Braintree before visiting other carnivals and fetes around Essex.
They will also appear at George Yard on July 27 and at Christmas will visit retirement homes to deliver cards and chat to residents.
