CHILDREN had the chance to meet one of their favourite book authors at a farm shop event.
Carousel – the Greenstead Green Farm Shop – welcomed author of the Percy the Park Keeper Nick Butterworth on Saturday to celebrate 30 years of the iconic children’s book character.
Children had the chance to go along to the shop and meet with the award-winning children’s author.
They learnt more about some of their favourite characters and had their copies of Mr Butterworth’s latest book, One Springy Day, personally signed by the author.
A spokesman for the farm shop said: “We were delighted to see so many children with their books last Saturday.
“A busy day was had by all enjoying painting Percy characters in the Pottery studio and meeting some of them in the flesh at Tiggy’s Farm.”
