A drink-driver has been banned from the roads for one year.
Mitchell Cox, of Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree, was stopped by police in High Bridge Road, Chelmsford, on February 17.
He had 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He admitted to drink-driving when he appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 10.
As well as being handed a 12 month ban, Cox was fined £350 and must also pay £85 in costs to the CPS and £35 to victim services.
