A man who trashed a sweet machine in a Braintree pub has been ordered to undertake unpaid work.
Lee Beney, of The Street, Takeley, admitted to the offence when appearing at Colchester Magistrates Court last month.
Beney, 26, had damaged a £200 sweet machine in the Swiss Bell Pub in Mountbatten Road, Braintree, back on June 28 last year.
Magistrates ordered him to undertake 140 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £40 and further costs totalling £170.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £100 and served with a restraining order after also admitting to harassing a woman in May and June last year.
