A MAN has been questioned by police after a collection of cannabis plants were seized from a house.
Members of the Braintree Local and Community Police teams found the haul during a joint operation in Rayne on Saturday.
Officers were executing a search warrant at a property in Capel Close around 9am and had to force entry to the building.
Once inside, the teams found four adult cannabis plants and several smaller plants growing.
Essex Police has confirmed no arrests were made at the scene. However, a 42-year-old man has been voluntarily interviewed by officers.
The force says enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Braintree Police Station on 101.
