PREPARATIONS are continuing ahead of the Witham Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 80th birthday with a business showcase.

The event will take place at the Witham Public Hall in Collingwood Road on Wednesday from 11am until 2pm.

The chamber is working in partnership with Braintree Council.

The aim of the showcase is to give the public the chance to see the exhibitors, network with other like-minded people and hear speakers.

Anyone wanting to update company headshots can head over to David Islip Photography and pay £10 on the day.

Entry is free and refreshments will be available from the Junkyard Smoke Bloke.

Witham Chamber chairman Tina Townsend said: “We are delighted the stands are all reserved, meaning over 30 businesses will be exhibiting.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to what will be a fantastic opportunity to promote business in Witham.”
