A MAN was cut free from his car by firefighters after a crash on a rural road.
Two fire crews were called to the scene in Boreham Road, Fuller Street, on Monday.
The crash involved just one car and happened at around 12.30pm.
Firefighters released the trapped man by 1.45pm and left him in the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "Early yesterday afternoon (February 11) an ambulance and a rapid response unit attended a road traffic accident near the corner of Cole Hill and Fuller Street.
"A man was taken to Broomfield Hospital by ambulance.”
