The mayor of Witham will be cutting the red ribbon while opening a new addition to The Grove Shopping Centre.
JoAnn Williams will be officially opening the Specsavers store tomorrow at 10:30am during a special launch event.
The new shop forms part of a relocation in the town for Specsavers, which says its new facilities will be bigger and better.
The launch will also aim to raise cash for Comic Relief, with a bake sale, children’s lucky dip and a raffle all on offer.
Adrian Gillings, Centre Manager at Grove Shopping Centre said: "We’re looking forward to welcoming families and the
local community for Specsavers new store opening event this Saturday.
"It’s great to also have the town mayor on hand to officially open the store by cutting the red ribbon."
