The MP for Braintree was left red faced after overhearing a conversation on his morning commute.
James Cleverly tweeted out at his confusion after catching a discussion between two women beside on a train, about nipple piercings.
Mr Cleverly tweeted about the conversation this morning.
Reading the political news on my phone on the train to work this morning. The two young women next to me having an illuminating conversation about nipple piercing.

What a time to be alive!
Mr Cleverly, who is deputy chairman of the Conservative party has also offered further backing in favour of Brexit, as well as criticising Mayor of London Sadiq Khan following the announcement Crossrail will not be delivered this year.
Mr Cleverly again tweeted: "Proof, if any more were needed, that Khan isn’t up to the job of being Mayor of London."
