RESIDENTS paid tribute to their late loved ones with a special service at a town centre shopping centre.
Shoppers visited the Grove, in Witham, for the Light Up A Life Service which was held around the Christmas tree.
In total 150 people took part in the service which saw candles lit and messages and names recorded in a book of remembrance.
The event was held in conjunction with Farleigh Hospice.
Adrian Gillings, from the Grove, said: “The service saw many families and friends join together to remember their loved ones and to reflect before the busy Christmas season begins.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the festive fun here at the Grove with our giant snow globe coming to the centre this Saturday.”
On Saturday a giant snow globe will be outside Superdrug at the centre for families to step inside and pose for pictures from 11am until 4pm.
