Manager Hakan Hayrettin says he has "pulled no punches" in letting Braintree Town's players know that he is looking to make changes to his Iron squad.

Braintree will return to Vanarama National League action after a two-week hiatus on Saturday when they welcome Solihull Moors to Cressing Road (kick-off 12.30pm) for a game that will be played in front of the BT Sport television cameras.

The club are hoping for a big crowd and Hayrettin said he had been working his players hard in training in preparation.

He has also been looking at the players who he has available within his squad and admitted that he would be looking to make changes if he felt new players would improve his options.

He said: "Maybe we'll have someone in this week as I am trying to see what I can do.

"If I get the opportunity to improve the squad I will and I've said that to the players.

"I've pulled no punches in that regard.

"I don't expect anyone to leave, but if they do decide to, then that is down to them.

"My job is to get a winning team together and that's what I'm doing.

"I'm not going to say I'm not looking for players because I am and I've told the players that.

"If I feel there is someone else out there who is better and I can bring them in with the club's blessing then I will move to do so."
