A firework display is set to light up the skies of Braintree.
Freeport Braintree will be hosting its own display on Friday, November 16.
The inaugural event will begin at 6pm and will follow the shopping village’s Christmas light switch-on.
Jenny Moulding, from Freeport, said: “Christmas is our favourite time of the year here at Freeport Braintree and we’re really excited that 2018 looks set to be even bigger and better than ever before.
“We’re kicking off the festive season with our first ever firework display.
“The event is completely free for shoppers and we feel it is the perfect way to mark the launch of Christmas at the centre.”
The site will also host its first ever Santa’s grotto this Christmas, which will open on Friday, November 23.
