AVIATION designers have donated nearly £2,000 to the Royal British Legion after coming up with a special livery.
AES Global presented a cheque worth £1,950 to representatives from the charity at its pop-in shop in Colchester.
The Braintree company provide design solutions to the aviation industry and decided to donate the cash after coming up with the design for Loganair's remembrance campaign.
Managing director, Andy Dolby, said: "We were truly honoured when asked to provide this special poppy livery design for Loganair.
"Our donation to The Royal British Legion, who provide vital support to the armed forces community, remind us of the importance and great work this charity does."
Kate Green, of the RBL, said: "Each year The Royal British Legion supports hundreds and thousands of people from our armed forces community through simply providing information and guidance to life saving help.
"This year the legion is aiming to raise a staggering £50 million.”
