STAFF and residents at a supported accommodation complex are celebrating after their first visit by inspectors.

The Care Quality Commission visit to Great Bradfords House in Coggeshall Road, Braintree, saw the home graded good in every area.

The report said: “People benefitted from a consistent staff team and had the time to develop positive and meaningful relationships.

“Staff treated people with respect and promoted their dignity.”

A spokesman for the care company said: “We congratulate our registered manager Dot Wheeler, the operations manager Michele Quaife MBE and all the wonderful carers we have here for their hard work, dedication and for putting the residents’ welfare and happiness first to ensure they are wonderfully cared for whilst still maintaining their dignity and independence where possible.”
