BIG changes have been made to Christmas Carol event which had to be cancelled last year due to snow.
Carols Round The Tree, which is organised by the Friends of Braintree Community Hospital, has become a well-established part of the Christmas calendar.
Last year’s event had to be cancelled at short notice due to the snow but organisers hope this year everything will go as planned.
And this year, there are changes to the venue and format with it taking place at the Braintree Baptist Church and not the hospital.
Also, instead of the usual pop-up choir, the singing will be led by Bocking Concert Brass and they will be joined by the choir of Lyons Hall School.
It will take place on Sunday, December 2, at 3pm and there will be free admission with a retiring collection in aid of Hope House in Braintree.
