A handmade Christmas craft fair will touch down in Great Dunmow next weekend.

The ‘we are handmade Christmas Craft Fair’ will take place at Foakes Hall, in Dunmow on Saturday.

It will include more than 30 craft makers and designers from Essex and Suffolk selling a range of beautiful and unique gifts for Christmas.

The fair is always popular with visitors and is full of quality handmade crafts to suit all budgets.

It includes, Capricorn Crafts who, in addition to making wooden toys and games, creates personalised memory boxes and family trees.

This year’s stallholders also include Peter Deans Ceramics, Jewellery by Argent Angel, Mrs Button’s Chocolates, bags and accessories from Kate Rowe Design, Driftwood Designs and The Mad Owl Company, makers of owl toys and gifts.

Plum Fairy will be running the tearoom, serving tea and cake on lovely vintage crockery.

The fair will be open to the public from 10am until 4pm this Saturday, November 3 and entry is free.

Dee Swain, the organiser, said: “In addition to all the crafts to buy, the public can also see demonstrations from Cathy Russell from the Guild of Essex Craftsmen who will be showing us the art of quilling, with quilling kits available to purchase.”
