A man has been arrested after police seized a knife from a house in Braintree.
Officers carried out a search of a property in Pegasus Way on Wednesday where they arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a knife.
The man was also arrested in connection with two disturbances in Market Square, Braintree.
The first incident happened at around 1.40am on Saturday, September 15, where a man was seen holding a machete and the second incident outside The Lounge at 1am on Sunday, October 7, where a man threatened door staff with a knife.
Essex Police say the man remains under investigation for the offences but was remanded and transferred to another police force for another matter.
