Officers in Rayne Road on Monday
A man has been charged with three offences after an incident where a shop worker and police officer were allegedly assaulted.
Mark Kendall of Progress Court, Braintree, has been charged with assault, assaulting an officer in the course of their duty and resisting an officer in the course of their duty.
Police were called to B&M Bargains in Braintree on Monday afternoon and were later seen arresting a man in Rayne Road.
The 43-year-old is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on November 8.
