A BRAINTREE man appears alongside EastEnders and TOWIE stars in a film which was released yesterday.
Dead Ringer was released on DVD on Monday and is a feature length film which tells the tale of a tribute singer in a band, called Dive, who gets to replace the lead singer of a boyband, called D5.
Jay Connor, who has previously starred in films such as Hooligan Legacy which came out in 2016, takes the role of Paul - one of the band mates in the tribute group.
The 29-year-old Braintree actor said: "I play the part of one of the singers in the tribute band, it was a really fun role to have.
"We filmed it last year in East London and by the time we were done we were all like a big family, I think we all enjoyed it.
The 15+ rated film is billed as a rags to riches tale and delves into the darker world of the music industry.
Dead Ringer came out yesterday and the cast and crew enjoyed a Leicester Square premiere too.
The trailer for the film can be found on YouTube.
