A performing arts school saw 50 children recreate The Greatest Showman.

Stagecoach Braintree is celebrating its summer workshop after the dramatic performance at Braintree Arts Theatre.

Students from six to 16 spent five days singing, dancing and acting over the summer break, ending with a live performance in front of a packed crowd.

Principal Julie Berridge said: "We ran a five day course for children aged from six to 16 at the Theatre in Braintree.

"With 50 children working intensely together to produce our fabulous version of The Greatest Showman, we saw the children singing, dancing and acting.

"This was a unique opportunity for children of all abilities to enjoy live theatre for the first time and make new friends."

Students from the Stagecoach Thursday and Saturday schools joined to create their version of this classic show.

Days of rehearsing, fun and games offered the children of Braintree an opportunity to experience live theatre in a professional environment and was a hit with students and parents.

Stagecoach Braintree runs each week, during term time, at Notley High School.
