Officers joined by MP for successful patrol in Witham
Police officers were joined by an MP for a foot patrol in Witham on Friday.
PC Andy Crow and SC Simon Jesse found drugs on someone during a stop and search and recovered a stolen motorbike during the patrol with Priti Patel MP.
Inspector Colin Cox said: "This was a great opportunity to show our local MP the commitment our officers have and the challenges that they face on a daily basis.
"During the patrol local hotspots were patrolled and the officers achieved some good results from pro-active policing."
