A huge group of more than 30 travellers’ caravans have moved onto land in Bocking.
The group began arriving on a stretch of land, near Convent Lane, from around 4pm on Sunday.
Caravans kept arriving until around 8pm the same evening.
One resident, who asked not be named, said: “They just did not keep coming.
“I counted them on Monday morning and I saw 37 caravans.”
The landowner is said to be aware of the encampment.
