A group of brownies ran five kilometres to help fight cancer.
Second Braintree Brownies completed a race for life, raising money via sponsorship for Cancer Research UK.
The group also released balloons to symbolise those who had both passed away and survived the deadly disease.
Pack leader Sarah Hobson said: "I think they would of ran a lot further, they didn’t want to stop running.
"Cancer Research were amazing, they sent us medals, posters, sponsorship forms, banners and balloons to help encourage the girls.
"As well as receiving a medal, we let some balloons go in memory of those who have been lost and survived the right."
