Residents attended a meeting to discuss parking and maintenance issues on the streets where they live.
Homeowners and tenants in Pitt Avenue, Pelly Avenue and Elizabeth Avenue, Witham, were joined by James Martin of Greenfields Community Housing and Essex County Councillor Robert Mitchell, who was representing Essex Highways.
Ward councillor Angela Kilmartin set up the meeting in response to growing problems with the pavements, green spaces and parking on the estate.
Leader of Witham Town Council Michael Lager discussed setting up a residents' association with those who attended.
Further meetings will take place later this year, with residents set to have a chance to comment on any measures introduced by the council and Greenfields.
