A team of daring work colleagues are taking on a skydive to raise money for a mental health charity.

Daniel Partridge, Jason Leeds, Graham Eyre and Vanessa Cooper, all employees of Kelvedon construction company Knight Group, will be falling from 10,000ft for Mid and North-East Essex Mind this spring.

Throughout the year, the company has chosen to support the charity and will be completing a range of different fundraisers in the hopes of raising at least £5,000 all in.

So far, Mr Eyre has already completed a run every day in January challenge - traversing a whopping 137 miles over the month’s 31 days.

The sky dive is the next fundraiser to take place, with the jump happening on Saturday, May 12, to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week

Ms Cooper said: “I am so thrilled to be able to do something that I have always wanted to do on behalf of such a fantastic charity.

“Mental health is an issue very close to my heart and raising money for Mind Mid and North-East Essex is really important to me.

“I appreciate every single donation no matter how small.”

Further events, including a London to Brighton cycling challenge and a month of rowing every day will take place later this year.
