POLICE want to speak to four men in connection with a string of thefts at the same shopping village store.

All four are being sought in relation to thefts which took place at TK Maxx at Freeport Shopping Village, Braintree.

On February 23, a man entered the store with a Sports Direct bag and selected eight Ralph Lauren polo tops worth three figures.

He hid them in the bag and left the store, activating the alarm but returned on February 25 and took another £500 worth of Ralph Lauren polo shirts.

The reference numbers for these incidents are 42/29465/18 and 42/29458/18.

Police also want to find two men who entered TK Maxx at around 1pm on February 24 and selected items, including six men’s coats, and put them in a black rucksack.

The suspects left the store without attempting to pay for the items worth hundreds of pounds and set the alarm in the process.

The reference number for this incident is 42/29477/18.

On February 25, a man entered the shop and put a number of Ralph Lauren items, including four coats, four polo shirts and five long-sleeved jumpers, in a grey rucksack and left.

In total, the items stolen were worth a three figure sum.

Two days later, on February 27 the man re-entered the store and chose further Ralph Lauren items, again worth a three figure sum.

He concealed the products in his rucksack and underneath his coat and left the store making no attempt to pay.

He is described as being Eastern European, between 27 and 32 years old and standing at six foot, one inch tall.

The reference numbers are 42/29471/18 and 42/29468/18.
