Police called to 'mass brawl' on residential street
Police were called to a "mass brawl" on a residential street in Braintree.
Witnesses reported more than 30 people were involved in the fight, in St James Road, Braintree.
Reports said that one of the people involved had been stabbed, however Essex Police refuted this claim.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Police were contacted with reports of a disturbance in St James Road, Braintree, shortly before 9.25pm on Friday, March 2.
"A 15-year-old boy was assaulted and suffered bruising and cuts.
"A 15-year-old boy from Braintree was arrested on suspicion of assault and questioned.
"The matter was dealt with by way of community resolution."
