A CONVENIENCE store has reopened after a £565,000 refurbishment.
The Co-op store at the Galleys Corner roundabout on the A120 in Braintree now includes a Costa Coffee machine and small Subway store.
The refurbished store will create 15 jobs. Area Manager Gavin Jones said: “We are delighted to have undertaken such a significant investment in Braintree, with a great new look to enable us to better serve the community.
“The Co-op is moving forward with a clear purpose and momentum.
“Our ambition is to ensure the store is a real asset for the community."
The Co-op’s Membership scheme means the store will donate one per cent of the cost of own brand products every time they are bought in store using the card.
