A foodbank need help from the public to help spread job this Christmas.
Braintree Area Foodbank has launched its Christmas appeal, helping those less fortunate across the district.
On this year's shopping list is tinned meat, Christmas cakes and puddings, festive biscuits, snacks and nibbles, sweets or advent calendars, mince pies and bottles of squash.
The foodbank also works with some of the most vulnerable in society and so the organisation is also putting together warm and homeless packs this festive period.
Donations of things like scarves, gloves, wipes and blankets are desperately needed.
All donations should be made before December 6 so they can be processed and distributed.
