A ten-year-old child has been left with life-changing injuries after a collision.
Police were called to a report of a road traffic collision in Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree, at about 4pm on October 3.
A car and a children’s scooter were involved and a road closure was put in place between Queens Road and Boleyns Avenue.

The boy was flown to hospital with life-changing injuries that are serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact Pc Matthew Turner at Stanway Roads Policing on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
