Stansted Airport has been evacuated, allegedly because of a bomb scare.
Passengers at the airport have taken to social media to document the ongoing incident, with reports of a suspicious package found on the site.

One woman described the incident as "chaos" after being evacuated at least 15 minutes ago.

Stansted Airport has apologised for the delay, but has not yet provided any information about the ongoing incident.

Update 3.25pm: Essex Police said "Officers were called to Stansted Airport today with reports of an unattended bag in the terminal.
"The item was found not to be suspicious."
Stansted Airport said: "Due to the discovery of an unattended bag a part of the terminal was cordoned off while police carried out checks on the item.
"The item was found not to be suspicious and the incident stood down. Flights continue to operate as normal.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the recent part-evacuation. The safety of passengers remains our highest priority."
The airport has now reopened.
