A ROOFING company has raised more than £100 for a children's charity.
A.J.W. Distribution in Witham held a raffle to fundraise for Brainwave, a charity supporting children with learning disabilities.
CEO of the roofing firm, Charlotte Wood, said: "We are delighted to have raised £144 from our raffle at our Witham Depot which was organised by Robert Perrin, and to be once again supporting Brainwave Children’s Charity.
"I have visited the children’s therapy centre based in Newland Street and I was very impressed with the therapy they offer to help children with disabilities and additional needs."
A.J.W. Distribution thanked everyone who took part in the raffle.
Gerry Gould, community manager at Brainwave, said: "We cannot thank A.J.W. Distribution enough for holding this raffle and for their support again this year.
"We do not receive any Government funding and have to look at ways of raising our own income so this donation is very much appreciated."
