A MAN will appear before a crown court judge, charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Steven McMillan, 38, of Pochard Way, Great Notley, will appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on April 26 when he will also face a charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
McMillen appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates' Court earlier today, March 29, but did not enter a plea.
The charges relate to a crash in Freebournes Lane, Witham, on February 26 last year where 32-year-old Adam Heath died and another man was seriously injured.
Mr Heath, a father of two, was a front seat passenger of an Audi which collided with a HGV trailer.
