A THEATRE club has raised over £7,000 for charity.
Bocking Theatre Club’s “Bocking Variety Spectacular” was held on Friday, November 13, with a variety of entertainment acts to raise £7,375.16 for Children in Need.
Hosted by John Jemison, the live show was held at Bocking Village Hall and featured local and national musical and theatrical talent .
Over thirty companies sponsored the event and helped make the show a success, including local companies like Taylor Milburn, Yumy, Bocking Village Club and Pasha Cafe to household names such as Sainbury’s, Nando's and Greggs.
Barclays Bank matched pound for pound all money raised on the night.
