A couple have highlighted a dangerous pothole on the A120 which left them £200 out of pocket.
David Gladwin, 30, and partner Charlotte, 22, were driving on the A120 from Great Notley towards Stansted when their Kia Picanto hit a three-metre pothole, about 100 yards from the slip road.
Mr Gladwin, of Braintree, said: “We were driving along in the dark and the car just made a huge noise. We didn’t know what on earth it was.
“The car was still moving so we carried on for about ten miles then pulled up to a service station after my partner said it didn’t feel right. We had a look and one of the wheels was almost hanging off."
