A TEACHER from Braintree has launched an out-of-this-world book for children.
Andy Johnson, 47, of Maltings View, has written Terry Scope’s Telescope, under the nom-de-plume Jonkers.
The wacky story features a young stargazer called Terry Scope who is abducted by aliens living on the moon.
Mr Johnson, who works as a supply teacher, has been a regular visitor to primary schools since his first book, Jimpy, was released last year.
He said: “It’s been great visiting all the different schools and cub groups and the reaction and feedback that I’ve got from the children has been fantastic.”
The book is aimed at children from 9 years upwards and is available from Amazon.
