DEVELOPERS have unveiled the final layout of a proposed 370-home housing estate.
Bellway Homes and Swan Hill Homes applied in June to build a two-stage scheme off Forest Road, in Witham, but have now revised their plans.
The companies want to start the development with 222 homes on the western edge of the plot, followed by a further 148 on the east of the site on land currently occupied by Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre.
However, the plans still do not include any proposals for new schools or medical services, despite an NHS report in June that said £91,000 would need to spent to mitigate the impact of the plans on the town’s GP surgeries.
