Burglars stole a pillowcase-full of cigarettes worth £1,000 and two pints of milk from a convenience store.
They used a crowbar to break into the Co-operative Food in Brook Street, Great Bradfield, overnight on March 25 and then forced open a shutter to fill the pillowcase with cigarette packs.
The damaged lock and bent door-frame will cost £100 to fix.
