Appeal to trace next of kin after motorcycle rider dies following collision in Leicester.

Leicestershire Police believe the man who died in the collision on Monday in the city, may have family in Essex or Kent.

The collision occurred between a silver BMW M3, red Vauxhall Corsa and a black Lexmoto XTR motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider, identified as 50-year-old Jeffrey Howell, received serious injuries and was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where he subsequently died.

It is believed that Mr Howell who was born in Antwerp, Belgium, but may have relatives living in Kent or Essex.

A 29-year-old man arrested in connection with the collision was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
