A second teenager has been charged in connection to an acid attack in Witham last year.
Aarron Isaac, 19, of Elverson Road, Lewisham, has been charged with throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent.
The charges relate to an incident in Bramble Road on August 8.
Dad-of-two Wayne Ingold was left with life-changing chemical burns to his hands, face and arms after the harmful liquid was thrown at him as he was collecting his post from a communal area in a block of flats.
Isaac joins a 15-year-old boy from Mitcham in south London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, who has already been charged with throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is remanded in court custody.
Isaac will appear at Colchester Magistrates Court tomorrow.
