Music lovers are going to be spoilt for choice this week.

On Friday, a one-off concert by British jazz legend Digby Fairweather and his Premier Quartet featuring John Patrick (piano), Andre Messeder (bass) and Neil Bullock (drums) is coming to Witham Public Hall.

Digby's award-winning quartet has headlined at the City of London Festival for two years in succession and played at jazz venues all around the UK.

This very special concert precedes a UK tour by Digby and his group which will tour the country throughout 2015 and presents a chance to spend an intimate evening of music and reminiscence.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with tickets £10 or £8 for concessions, from 0845 017 8717 or the Visitor Information Centre at Witham Town Hall.

On Sunday, the Variety Concert with Orchestra and Singers are performing at the Witham Public Hall.

Doors open at 5.30pm and tickets cost £10 for stalls and £8 for the balcony, or concession prices of £8 for stalls and £6 for balcony.
