A retired school cleaner who has been plagued with constant music playing for four years feels she is now at breaking point.
Susan Root, 65, of Knights Road in Coggeshall, suffers from musical hallucination, also called musical tinnitus, where she hears tunes when none are being played.
For the last two weeks, it has been getting worse and keeps her awake at night.
She said: “It used to just be How Much is that Doggie in the Window but now I am getting all the different tunes.
“Now it is mostly Somewhere over the Rainbow.”
