St Peter and Paul's Church, Black Notley is holding its annual Flower Festival this Saturday and Sunday (May 10-11).
The theme is "A Centenary in Flowers " which supports the Diocese of Chelmsford celebrating its establishment in 1914.
The arrangements will reflect national and local events over the last one hundred years.
The church will be open to visitors between 10am and 5pm on both days with guided historical walks around the churchyard at 2pm.
A preview evening with wine, music and poetry will be held on Friday (May 9) at 8pm.

Refreshments with homemade cakes, a handmade stall and children's competition also feature.
The Flower Festival concludes with a Peal of Bells at 5.30pm and Songs of Praise at 6pm on the Sunday .
