Witham Lions Club have been busy planting trees for the local wildlife and community to enjoy.
Ten members of the club turned out on May 3 to plant 105 saplings including birch and hawthorn, in Whetmead Nature Reserve, Blackwater Lane, Witham.
Tony Stote said: “This is the third year that we have planted trees in the nature reserve.
“The trees are important to the area and also to help us serve the community.”
