Blaze hits 400 tonnes of straw
A FIELD fire saw 400 tonnes of bailed straw go up in smoke.
Firefighters from Dunmow Fire Station were called to the blaze in Lubberhedges Lane, Stebbing, at 2.17pm today.
The crew allowed the straw to burn in a controlled way as there was no risk to other areas.
