Developers are looking to create even more housing on the site of a former Witham office block.
Plans have been submitted to create a roof terrace allowing them to then build seven more flats at Iceni House, as noted in the latest planning application by Julia Mackay Properties.
The plans are currently open to consultation.
In 2012, developers were given permission to create 13 two-bedroom flats with associated parking at the site in Newland Street.
The council later issued a decision on August 9 2013 confirming that prior approval was not required for the change of use of this office building to residential use to provide 24, one bedroom flats, according to the this month’s planning statement on the history of the building.
Should the latest plans be approved, it would bring the total number of flats to 31.
