Braintree’s X Factor hopefuls are set to wow the judges on this week’s round of auditions.

Nathan, Mark and Kieran Bass, who have been performing as band, Next Of Kin, since 1998, have announced that they will feature on this weekend’s ITV show.

The three brothers, who are former Notley High School pupils, have described judges’ feedback from their first audition as “mind blowing.”

On their Facebook page they have asked for the audience and fans to download the X Factor app and be the fifth judge.

Nathan, 32, now lives in Dorothy Sayers Drive, Witham, while younger brothers Kieran, 28, and Mark, 29, live with parents David and Diane in East Hill, Colchester.

The trio, were previously signed to former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller's record label, and have had singles feature in the UK chart.

The family of Sam Morris, 22, of Benton Close, Cressing, are also eagerly awaiting the next episodes in the hope he will be shown as part of pop group, Plastic.

The colourful singer-song writer is set to star on the show with bandmates Tom Davis, of Surrey, and Lulu Smith, of Great Yarmouth.

They have already attracted the attention of judge Nicole Scherzinger and have been dubbed as this year’s Rylan Clark type contestant.
